Blues are unbeaten in their last four visits to the Spotland stadium and Bentley is sure the Shrimpers will claim another hard fought triumph this weekend.
"It is quite a difficult place to go, but I'm confident we can go up there and win after drawing at Lincoln on Tuesday night," said the 26-year-old.
"All the lads are feeling good and we really think we've got a great chance of getting the three points as Rochdale are struggling a bit at the moment."
Bentley is again expected to get the nod against Dale after returning to the starting line-up during the mid-week clash with Lincoln.
