Essex Eels welcome Mike Muir back to their squad for Saturday's home game with local rivals South London Storm.
Muir became the club's first ever international when he appeared for Holland against Scotland Students in Rotterdam last week.
Although they lost 24-14 to the Scots, it was still a proud moment for Muir, who was also appointed as assistant to head coach Keith Davies.
"International Rugby League is where every player wants to get to and I'm still pinching myself that I am here at times," said Muir, who qualifies for the Dutch squad through his mother.
Muir's involvement also cements the relationship between the Eels and the NNRLB, who run the fledging Dutch game.
Eels contest an annual trophy with Den Haag outfit Te Werve, and sent a team to this year's Rotterdam Nines event.
