Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after three men were assaulted in a seemingly unprovoked attack outside a busy bar.
The incident happened outside Quilters, Laindon Road, Billericay, just before 9.30pm on Friday, August 6.
One man from a group of five set upon his three victims, leaving one in need of hospital treatment and another with a bruised and bloodshot eye.
According to Billericay police, one of the victims required five stitches after receiving a cut to his face. The third victim was pushed over a wall.
The aggressor then went back to his group of friends and the gang made off in the direction of the high street.
He was white, aged about 20, 5ft 9ins tall with short, blond hair. He wore a red T-shirt, black jeans and black Timberland boots.
