An angry grandmother today told how she and her family have been left waiting almost six months for a portfolio of pictures of her granddaughter which were supposed to set her on her way with a modelling agency.
They paid out £157.50 for a sitting - but so far have absolutely nothing in return.
Jean Mallone, of Park Road, Clacton, said they had made contact with Global Fashion Photography, of Southampton, following a newspaper advertisement.
They went to the sitting at the Red Lion pub in Lion Walk, Colchester, last March.
"My daughter Karen Borley took her two-year-old daughter Jodie and they said she was just what they were looking for," said Mrs Mallone.
"They were very keen but made it clear they would not be able to fix her up with an agency without a professional porfolio and one was arranged for the next day.
"We paid £157.50 - I've got the receipt - and despite numerous calls, we have nothing in return."
Mrs Mallone said she has called the Global Fashion Photography number on 38 occasions and left messages but without response.
The Evening Gazette also tried to contact Global Fashion Photography but without success
