There has already been a demo and a march.
Now campaigners battling to keep a Braintree maternity unit open 24 hours a day are gearing up for a mass vigil.
It is the latest tactic in the fight to keep William Julien Courtauld (WJC) Hospital open around the clock for mothers-to-be from the area.
The Braintree mothers support group is looking for people to take part in the 24-hour sit down outside the hospital in London Road.
It will start at about 4pm on Friday, September 3, and go on until the following day.
They hope to convince health bosses to change it to a 24-hour facility and not one which is open from 9am to 5pm with midwives on call during the night.
