Blood donors are desperately needed as stocks traditionally dip during the summer holidays.
To help avoid this, the National Blood Service has organised a blood donor session in Hadleigh.
National Blood Service spokeswoman Ruth Greenaway said: "Regular blood donors can give blood every 16 weeks and we are always looking for new donors."
A donation session will be on Monday, August 23, at the John Burrows large hall on the John Burrows Recreation Ground, Rectory Road, Hadleigh, from 2pm to 4pm and 5pm to 7.45pm.
If you would like to become a blood donor, you can attend the session or call the helpline on 0845 7711711.
