A pair of race-walking twins are taking a much-needed break from training.
Daniel and Dominic King represented the South of England at an Inter-area competition in Derby to bring their season to a close.
And while their performances were somewhat down on the high standards the pair set themselves, they have not been left deflated by their end-of-season showing.
Most recently the 21-year-olds from Colchester Harriers needed a photo-finish to determine the winner at an international meeting in Manchester where the Great Horkseley pair smashed their personal bests - with Dominic coming out on top.
However, Daniel was to reign supreme over his sibling in Derby, but still failed to take the top spot in the 3,000 metres event.
Daniel was just eight seconds off Ireland's Colin Griffin, who clocked 12 minutes and six seconds.
Daniel said: "I wasn't really that pleased with my peformance. It was good to get round but I was disappointed with my time."
