The creative minds of the Layer Road faithful have been busy trying to scribe lyrics for a song to cheer on Colchester United striker Craig Fagan.
Some of the fans' efforts are promising, and Fagan insisted he'd be delighted if the crowd during tonight's Stockport match sing out his name.
"It means a lot," said former Birmgham City striker Fagan.
"When I first came I was pretty well unknown and you'd hear all the big names at the club like Karl Duguid have their name sung on the terraces.
"So for the fans to start singing mine is great."
Fagan will be hoping that there are plenty of voices there to cheer him and the rest of the team on tonight.
The U's started their new Coca-Cola League One campaign with a spectacular 3-0 win at Sheffield Wednesday in front of over 24,000 fans and Fagan hopes that will get people along.
