Get in - Craig Fagan celebrates opening the scoring for the U's
The U's manager remained calm after the match and claimed that he is going to keep his feet on the ground.
He said: "We will enjoy this win, but we are not going to get carried away.
"To come to Sheffield Wednesday and win by this margin is a great achievement, but we have to remain focused."
Craig Fagan, Sam Stockley and Joe Keith all netted in a five-minute flourish that stunned the 24,138 onlookers at Hillsborough.
"I'm really pleased for the guys who scored," said Parkinson.
"I thought the two new boys were good as well, both Aidan Davison and Kevin Watson did really well on their debuts."
