A mobile skate park is set to return following its success in getting youngsters off the streets of Castle Point.
Castle Point Council together and the crime and disorder reduction partnership is providing the mobile facilities, which included a selection of jumps, pipes and ramps.
When the mobile skate park came to the Paddocks community centre car park in Long Road, Canvey, recently, about 40 youngsters turned up to try the facility.
Claire Lowe, a community development officer, said: "The day was a complete success. I was so pleased with the number of young people that came along, many for the first time.
"It was good to see so many enjoying themselves."
The park is now lined up for two more appearances in the borough this summer.
On Monday, it will be in Woodside recreation ground, Manor Road, Benfleet, and on Friday, August 27, it will be in John Burrows recreation ground, Rectory Road, Hadleigh.
