A nimble-footed trainee solicitor impressed her firm so much by winning Colchester's Race for Life that it doubled the money she raised for charity.
Charlotte Knappett, a trainee solicitor at law firm Fisher Jones Greenwood, beat off competition from nearly 2,000 women to come first in the race in Colchester's Castle Park in aid of Cancer Research.
She raised £205 through sponsorship and Fisher Jones Greenwood immediately agreed to match it, taking her total to £410.
Charlotte said: "Getting my fundraising doubled is fantastic news and the best achievement of the whole weekend. All the girls at Fisher Jones Greenwood did really well, too."
Running with Charlotte were trainee legal executive Caroline Gray and legal executive Debbie Foley.
