The holidays may only have just begun but one group of youngsters has already completed a summer school - based on Greece.

Thirty Canvey pupils returned to the classroom at Cornelius Vermuyden and performed their own version of the Olympics and a play based on ancient Greek myths.
The Year 6 and 7 students were specially selected for the course designed for talented and gifted children.
The youngsters also created art work and toyed around with tricky mathematics.
