More bands have been confirmed for the V Festival's first ever Music Choice Stage line-up.
Scandanavian pop-mongers, The Concretes, and Hackney funk-disco-punksters, The Infadels will be joining 2004's all-star line-up.
The Music Choice Stage is set to be the place to be for festival-goers on the lookout for performances from 'the next big thing'.
Bob Angus, Festival Director said: "Both The Concretes and The Infadels promise to add a very different flavour to this year's bill. With such an incredibly strong line-up, and all tickets very nearly all gone, V Festival 2004 is shaping up to be one for the record books. Let's just keep our fingers crossed that the weather will last now summer's finally here!"
The Concretes formed in 1995 when the three female members: Lisa Milberg (drums), Victoria Bergsman (vocals) and Maria Eriksson (guitar) started making music together.
Completed in 2000 with the addition of three male members, the band have quickly established themselves on the music scene.
The rise of The Infadels over the last twelve months has been impressive. It all began four years ago when the first incarnation of the band emerged from the East London music scene under the guise of Balboa, but they started afresh in 2003 as The Infadels, returning with their first single.
'Leave Your Body' immediately found its home in the diskdrives of the nation's DJs. Fromthere on in, things really started to take off for the four-piece.
With influences as diverse as punk, funk, dance, ska, electro, hip hop and blues, it's no surprise that The Infadels' music is so difficult to pigeonhole.
