Parish councillors would like to build their own GP surgery in their village rather than leave villagers waiting for answers.
Little Clacton branch surgery was closed by the main Great Bentley practice earlier this year.
But some months on there is still no news on what happens next.
There is still a sign on the surgery door, which says it is closed temporarily and residents have to travel to Great Bentley to see a doctor.
The parish council has written numerous letters including one to the Tendring Primary Care Trust (PCT), the practice manager at Great Bentley and MP Ivan Henderson.
Of these three, the council has only received a reply from the Tendring PCT so far.
Parish councillor Peter Balbirnie said: "I believe we will go ahead as a council and somehow make our own or build our own surgery."
