Police investigating a fatal crash which claimed the life of a 15-year-old girl have renewed appeals to a motorcyclist and passenger to come forward.
Rebecca Fenton, from Bemerton Gardens, Kirby Cross, was riding pillion on her father Desmond's Honda motorbike in Mersea Road, Colchester, when it was in collision with a Land Rover Freelander car at 8pm on July 13.
She was certified dead at the scene and Mr Fenton was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A second motorbike was seen by witnesses to the tragedy, travelling towards Mersea in the same direction as Rebecca and her father, but the rider and passenger have yet to be traced.
There is no evidence that they contributed to the accident.
The rider and passenger were last seen at Manwood Hill where the road becomes de-restricted.
