A carrier bag stuffed full with cannabis has been found in the car of a teenager in South Woodham Ferrers.
Police arrested a 19-year-old male and a 17-year-old male, who were found to be in possession of the drug, in the town on Friday.
A subsequent search of the 19-year-old's car found a carrier bag of cannabis, with an estimated street value of £800.
Inspector Chris White said it is thought the pair may be connected to incidents where children have been sold cannabis in the town centre.
Both teenagers have been bailed pending further police enquiries.
