A new class is being set up to help children who suffer from a ligament condition.
Sessions will be held at St Joseph's Primary School in The Drive, Dovercourt, for pupils with hypermobility syndrome or similar disabilities.
The condition can make joints bend the wrong way and even dislocate.
Groups of no more than 12 will meet for a trial run of six weeks, starting in September.
David Rolph, of Hypermobility East Anglia Group, explained that youngsters at the school who have the condition will benefit from the classes.
He said: "We want to work with the children and parents to make their lives better. They can interact and build confidence."
