Kind community wardens treated young adults with learning difficulties to a day-out watching their heroes at West Ham United.
The wardens - organised the trip to Upton Park where the Hammers took on Belgian side Anderlecht in a pre-season friendly.
There was extra cheer for the ten-strong group who got to see new signings, former England striker Teddy Sheringham and Ukranian Sergei Rebrov, perform for the first time.
The group departed from the Ashleigh Centre in Whitmore Way, Basildon.
