Tickets for one of the biggest charity concerts in Brentwood are now on sale.

A musical variety charity show is on the bill at the Brentwood Centre on Sunday, August 8 to raise funds for the Great Ormond Street Hospital children's charity and the Essex Air Ambulance Service.

Organiser Lance Carolan from Pilgrims Hatch has put together an impressive line-up of music and entertainment to suit all tastes and ages.

Mr Carolan, whose own band Me 'n' Hymn and the Music Machine will be on stage, has also enlisted the support and sponsorship of Brentwood Town Centre Partnership and local companies.

Professional singing coach Julie Pretorias, of Wickford, and her 30-piece rock gospel choir plus dancers will be among the highlights.

Phoenix FM will be supporting the concert on the night.

There will also be 14 highland pipers, two top comedians and Mr Carolan's band.

The concert starts at 7pm and tickets are on sale priced £10 from the Brentwood Centre box office on 01277 262616.
