Thanks - the casino's Mike Phillips and Denise House hand a case of wine to the red watch
Bosses at the Westcliff Casino handed a case of wine to Southend fire station's red watch for swiftly quelling a blaze which threatened to destroy the building.
The blaze closed Southend seafront as crews from south Essex fought the kitchen fire which spread to neighbouring offices.
Mike Phillips, casino general manager, said Rayleigh, Rochford, Hawkwell, Leigh and Hadleigh stations would also be thanked and presented with cases of wine.
