Dev Gandhi led from the front as Hadleigh & Thundersley secured a draw with mid-table rivals Chelmsford.
The Hadleigh skipper hit 139 at John Burrows Rec as his side set a decent enough target of 261-8 before declaring after 52 overs.
Chelmsford mustered 191-8 in their reply, with Simon Evans hitting an unbeaten 52, and managed to hold on to their last two wickets to get the stalemate.
Hadleigh picked up 11 points to leave them in sixth place in the table. Chelmsford took six points and sit one place and nine points behind Hadleigh.
