Mersea Cadet Week's defending champions have won their third consecutive title as overall winners.
Jack Grogan and Jonathan Banks, racing a 29er dinghy, a small scale version of the Olympic 49er class boat, won six races in the Fast Handicap Fleet to secure a place in the fleet winners 'sail off' for the coveted Viking Trophy.
The Week's four fleet winners helmed local racing yachts with mixed regular and cadet crews to determine the overall champion.
Grogan and Banks demonstrated the breadth of their sailing skills, helming and managing the foredeck respectively on a Beneteau First 33.7.
They finished over a minute ahead of topper sailor Martin Evans, helming a Dehlar 34.
