The British Heart Foundation shop, in Southernhay, Basildon, invited residents along to mark a decade of fundraising.
Shop manager Elaine Thompson said: "A big thank you to everyone who has supported us.
"We would not be able to operate without the support of the local community and our dedicated team of volunteers."
Hazel Merritt and Iris Starling, who have been volunteering at the shop for ten years, and Margaret Barbers and Sheila Starling, who have been giving up their time for five years, are to be presented with long service awards.
