Westcliff will be aiming to move up the Shepherd Neame Essex League Premier Division when they travel to lowly Shenfield tomorrow.

John Pratt's sixth-placed troops could move up to fourth if results go their way and they take maximum points against Shenfield.

But the Chalkwell Park side will be confident of achieving a win following an 84-run victory when the sides met on June 12.

Division One leaders Wickford host Brentwood in a top-of-the-table clash and will be looking to put more daylight between themselves and the second-placed team.

Wickford won by six wickets away to Brentwood last month and welcome their promotion rivals knowing the visitors will be anxious for a win.

Hadleigh & Thundersley are in sixth place, one position and four points clear of tomorrow's visitors, Chelmsford.

The hosts had the better of a draw when they last met, with Indian Test batsman and Hadleigh skipper Dev Gandhi hitting 102.
