A television makeover team has completely transformed a bedroom in a Clacton family's home.
The Chadwick family, who live in Thoroughgood Road, Clacton, received 27,000 votes from viewers after appearing on the BBC1 programme DIY SOS last week.
Lindsey, Pete, and children Amy, 3, Chloe, 2, and one-year-old Lucy wanted their unusable bedroom redone so that Amy and Chloe could finally move into it.
On Sunday the team of professionals from the programme came to their home to get to work.
While they took over the house the family had to go out for the day so they did not see what was going on, but finally at 12.30am on Monday they were told to come back home.
But it was still another hour before they were allowed to see the finished room.
Mrs Chadwick said: "The room looks fantastic. I would never have dreamed of putting all those colours in one room."
The programme will be shown on BBC1 at 8pm tonight
