Visitors will find out what life was like 400 years ago as one of Southend's museums is taken over by the Tudors.
Southchurch Hall Museum will host its Tudor day on Sunday, from 11am to 4pm.
The museum, off Woodgrange Drive, is a medieval manor house with Tudor additions.
There will be various stalls and an encampment of travelling folk.
Guide lecturer at the museum, Robert Blake, said: "People can come and see how others used to live in this lively and fun day."
Entry to the Tudor day is free.
