Senior student Angela Gregory put on a fantastic performance to pass her first dan black belt course in Hendon.
And Grace Thompson, 12, who only recently recovered from appendicitis and torn ligaments, proved her recovery was complete by battling her way to a hard fought silver medal at the National Youth Championships in Chesterfield.
The club are also looking to recruit new members and anyone interested in joining should contact either Debbie on 01268 792900 or Angela on 01268 780063.
Training sessions are held every Monday, between 7pm and 8.30pm, at Rayleigh Primary school, and every Wednesday, between 7.30pm and 9pm, at the town's Castle Hall.
