West Ham's summer of transfer activity is not yet over - and another new signing is due on Monday.

Alan Pardew has already added attackers Teddy Sheringham and Sergei Rebrov to his squad, but the action isn't finished yet.

"I can't talk about who it is, but I've definitely got another player coming in on Monday," said Pardew.

"I'm hoping to add one more after that, then I will be happy."

Released Spurs midfielder Darren Anderton is one name who has been consistently linked with Hammers over the summer, and his arrival could ease the problems down the right flank.

Despite the club's problems over the past couple of years, with relegation being followed by a radical rebuilding, the manager has been delighted with the enthusiasm prospective players have shown for life in the East End.

"We have had to work hard, but it's not all about money," he said.

"This club has a bit more than that.

"There's the attraction of our fans and the set-up that we have, which makes it easier for me to bring in players.

"People want to play because of our support and the atmosphere we can generate and the history behind us."
