Basildon's first basketball camp has bounced into action, with qualified coaches offering expert guidance on how to carry out the perfect slam-dunk.
Basildon Council has organised three camps. The first began yesterday at Markhams Chase and continued today from 9.30am until 11.30am.
A second camp will take place at Northlands Park on August 3 and 4 from 10am until noon. The final sessions will be on August 10 and 11 at Barstable School.
Future basketball stars will be taught new techniques to develop their dribbling, shooting and passing skills before going head-to-head in a three-a-side competition at Barstable School on August 17.
