Steve Clarke, decided to shave his head for Adventure Playground in The Fryth, which supports children with special needs.
Steve said, "My girlfriend, Joanne, helps out here because her two sons, Toby and Ryan, both come to play.
"The playground gives parents a respite from the everday pressures of bringing up a child with a disability.
"We rely on donations, so I thought a good way to raise money was to shave my head. One of the kids had fun in snipping off my ponytail!"
