Grieving parents whose daughter and grandson were killed in a house blaze have made a heartfelt plea for fresh information
It is six years to the day since Jean Trigg, 27 and her five-year-old son Anthony were trapped in a house fire in Church Crescent, Clacton.
On the anniversary of the fire, Les and Kathleen Trigg of Bolton have described every day as a "living nightmare" and made a visit to Clacton to make an appeal.
Mr Trigg, 62, said: "It's a living nightmare we've had for six years. We want the door to open and for little Anthony to come in and say 'look what I've got grandad'.
"They are never out of our thoughts. We lost a loving grandson and loving daughter and we will never get them back."
Mrs Trigg, 57, said: "Every day affects us. I go to their graves every week. It's hard to carry on until they catch the person who is responsible. We will not rest until they catch the person."
Anyone with information should call Clacton police on 01255 221312
