Kids had the chance to try their hand at singing or taking part in a tug-of-war or even a trampoline at the event in Colchester.
The fun day, at the Magnolia Field on the town's Greenstead estate, also included a funfair and a sandpit for younger children.
There was also a penalty football competition, involving Colchester United, and a display by the Tendring Dog Academy.
The weekend event was staged by the Greenstead Community Association. One of the organisers, Richard Brown, said it was a successful day.
