A car which was driven into the front of a house in Basildon on Sunday may have been crashed there deliberately.
Police have not ruled out the possibility that the driver of the Nissan Micra smashed into the home in Lincoln Road on purpose.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "We are looking into it to establish whether it was an accident or whether there was any other motivation."
