A teenage girl who has "caused misery" to residents has been banned from a Clacton estate for two years.

Shaan Timothy, 16, has also been barred from meeting up in public with two sisters who are banned from the same estate.

She was issued with a two-year Anti Social Behaviour Order (Asbo) yesterday.

The 16-year-old, who now lives with her grandmother in Agincourt Road, must stay away from the Percy King estate for two years.

At Colchester Magistrates' Court, District Judge David Cooper said: "She appears to have caused misery to people around where she lives.

"I have heard about her various offences so often I do not feel the need to go through them - she knows what she did, of course."

The teenager is also ordered not to cause alarm or distress to anyone, use threatening or intimidating behaviour to any person, or intimidate any witness involved in the court case.

She cannot meet up with Jessica, 19, and Rachel Kirby, 17, both of Nayland Drive, Clacton, in public.

The sisters were issued with Asbos last week after appearing before the same judge.
