A 23-year-old man donated £1,973 to his former school after running the London Marathon earlier this year.

Staff and pupils at Cedar Hall School, Hart Road, Benfleet, were delighted when Luke Fordham presented them with the bumper cheque.
A school spokesman said Luke, who now works at Tesco in Rayleigh, had wanted to give something back to the special needs school for all the help it had given him.
The money will go into school funds and be used to buy new equipment.
