Prime leisure sites on Canvey may be sold as Castle Point Council weighs up its options.
The move comes after one of the largest leisure groups on the Island, Monico Leisure, put in a bid to buy the plots, which it rents.
It wants to buy Kiddies Corner, Krazy Golf and the Carousel amusement arcade, all in Eastern Avenue, and the Fantasy Island amusement arcade in Furtherwick Road.
Members of the asset management committee deferred a decision for a site visit.
Members also want to consider the financial position.
