Peckish pensioners need be hungry no longer.
Witham's luncheon club, which provided modestly-priced lunches to elderly residents until its closure two years ago, is to be relaunched.

Its resurrection has been made possible thanks to a £13,200 grant from the district's NHS care trust to pay the wages of a part-time cook.
When Jackie Martin became town mayor a couple of months ago, resurrecting the luncheon club was one of the priorities she outlined for her term of office.
Mrs Martin said she hoped it would be possible to provide lunches and morning coffee for the elderly at least two days a week.
She added she planned to work with Age Concern to develop more facilities for the elderly in Witham.
Although the club will operate under the patronage of the town council, it will be a separate organisation with its own constitution.
