To mark National Science Week and its acceptance as a specialist science college, Braintree's Tabor High School ran a competition for final year pupils in the area's primary schools, to design what they thought Braintree would look like in 2050.
The most entries were received from Bocking Churchstreet Primary School, which was presented with a digital camera.
The pupil who produced the winning design, 11-year-old David Boylett is also a pupil at Bocking and was awarded his own digital camera.
