A girl was knocked unconscious and suffered a head injury in a road accident outside a holiday park.
The 15-year-old was involved in a collision with a car outside Seawick Holiday Village in Beach Road, Seawick, where she had been staying.
She was flown in the Essex Air Ambulance to Colchester General Hospital for treatment following the accident, shortly after 4pm yesterday.
Robbie Robinson, one of the air ambulance crew members, said: "The girl had regained consciousness by the time we arrived but she had a nasty head injury and was also complaining of neck pain."
