Ross Ellis fished a night on the short arm at Rochford's Doggetts venue hoping his run of twenties would continue.
The Shoebury angler landed numerous good tench and bream, plus three carp, but all between eight and twelve pounds.
Gary Vandagen fished the long arm landing two mirrors, both weighing in at 19lb each.
Dave Saunders fished the same spot for a morning session and was rewarded with three good tench to 6lb, plus a terrific common of 16lb.
Steve Goodman, from Southend, decided to fish his first ever session at Doggetts on the south bank and within an hour of his first cast beat his personal best with a fine 20.6lb mirror. Goodman continued his session by also landing a 14lb mirror.
Hawkwell's Steve Newman reeled in two mirrors of 13lb and 17lb, plus a 9lb common while fishing a long arm session.
