The Evening Echo are backing Southend United for success next season by becoming one of the club's major sponsors.
Southend United's new away kit
As part of the deal, the East Stand will now be known as the Echo Stand as Steve Tilson attempts to lift the Shrimpers up into League One.
Brian Wheeler, the Seasiders commercial manager, welcomed the Evening Echo. "We're absolutely delighted," he said.
"There's a real feel good factor around the place at the moment and it's great that our local paper is getting behind us and backing the Blues once again."
Meanwhile, Southend have unveiled the away kit they will be wearing next season (pictured).
The shirts will be on display before tonight's tussle with Millwall, but will not be worn until the clash with Brighton and Hove Albion.
