Ipswich Town made up for their pre-season goal drought by routing Oxford United 5-1.
The Blues roared back to form in last night's friendly at the Kassam Stadium.
Oxford went in front early on but two goals from Tommy Miller, plus further strikes from Darren Bent, Pablo Counago and Jim Magilton, wrapped-up the win for Town.
Miller got the Blues back on level terms after 25 minutes and then, having been fouled in the area, slotted home a penalty.
Bent coolly added to the lead just after half-time, after a great through ball from Ian Westlake.
And the Clacton-based midfielder picked out Counago for the fourth goal.
Magilton playing against his old club completed the rout when he tapped in Dean Bowditch's cross.
