A brave girl fighting leukaemia has had a song dedicated to her by one of her favourite bands.
Charlie Simpson, lead singer from boy band Busted, dedicated one of the band's number one singles, You Said No, to Jasmine Gilvray at their concert in Ipswich.
Free tickets were sent to Jasmine, 11, of Silver End, by Charlie's dad Mike, after he read about her battle against the disease in the Evening Gazette in April.
Jasmine, who has been battling against lymphoblastic leukaemia since March 2003, was given two free tickets to the concert, in Christchurch Park, Ipswich, and a signed photo of Charlie.
Mum Hayley, 36, of Broomfield, said: "He said 'This song is dedicated to a little girl called Jasmine.'
"It was brilliant, and we obviously knew who he was talking about.
"It was a bit of a shame she didn't get to meet him but she really enjoyed it and came back with loads of goodies."
The dedication came as an extra surprise before Jasmine celebrates her 12th birthday on Thursday
