A grieving accident victim has been released from hospital following the crash which claimed his daughter's life.
Des Fenton's Honda motorbike was involved in a collision with a Land Rover Freelander in Mersea Road, Colchester, at about 8pm last Tuesday.
His daughter, Rebecca, 15, who was riding as a pillion passenger, died in the accident.
Mr Fenton was taken to Colchester General Hospital to be treated for serious leg injuries.
A spokesman said yesterday he had been discharged.
