A whopping 31,000 people lapped up the Basildon Festival consuming 4,160 pints of beer, 4,500 soft drinks and more than 3,500 burgers and hotdogs.
It raised an impressive £10,500 for Staff Activities Group, the council charity which gives cash to disadvantaged children.
The free event, sponsored by Pitsea Cleanaway Marshes Trust and British Gas, has established itself as one of the region's top weekends.
The new location in the town's Gloucester Park proved to be an outstanding success, allowing for extra attractions such as the sci-fi fair and fun fair.
Basildon Council chairman Sandra Hillier said: "It was a great weekend with thousands of local residents and visitors from far and wide.
"I spoke with hundreds of visitors over the two days and it was clear to see the Basildon Festival offers something for everyone, young and old."
