Hadleigh and Thundersley cricket club were today holding their annual International match which will see a whole host of test stars in action at Rectory Road.
It is one of the high spots of the local cricketing calendar, bringing some of the most charismatic names in the sport to Hadleigh.
And the event continues to go from strength to strength, raising money to support local charities and cricket development in the region.
West Indian legends including Viv Richards, Desmond Haynes, Jimmy Adams, Gordon Greenidge and Richie Richardson plus Zimbabwean Grant Flower - brother of Essex star Andy - are all expected to be in action, with the eagerly anticipated encounter starting at 2pm.
Admission is free but all proceeds will be split between Little Havens Childrens Hospice, Essex County Cricket academy and youth cricket in the Castle Point area.
