A pensioner was attacked by wasps after a nest fell through a ceiling into his bathroom, it was revealed today.
The 76-year-old, who lives in Eastwood, was taken to Southend Hospital after being stung yesterday.
The man was left shocked and dazed following the incident.
The man was not allergic to wasp stings, so he was not believed to be seriously ill.
