She was a loving and caring person who had time to spend with all her family. That was how Micheal Fenton described his 15-year-old niece Rebecca who died in a motorbike accident.
Rebecca was riding as a pilion passenger when the Honda 1,100cc motorbike her father Des was driving was involved in a collision in Mersea Road, Colchester.
Mr Fenton paid tribute to his niece.
He said: "She was a loving and caring person who had time to spend with all her family and tried to make the effort of seeing everyone her nan, uncle, grandad, and always made time to be with her mum and dad.
"She loved to spend time with her dad. He was her heart and soul and her mum was the same."
Mr Fenton said Rebecca was a tomboy who loved motorbikes.
"She loved going to motorbike races with me and my brother," he said.
Rebecca was a pupil at Tendring Technology College, Frinton.
Alan Osborn, vice-principal, said Rebecca was a friendly, outgoing, well-liked pupil.
