Police today appealed for witnesses to a crash in which a teenager died.
Rebecca Fenton, 15, was riding as a pillion passenger when the Honda 1,100cc motorbike her father Des was driving was involved in a collision in Mersea Road, Colchester.
No witnesses have come forward.
The collision between her father's motorbike and a Land Rover Freelander happened on Tuesday evening at about 8pm.
A police spokesman said: "Police have not heard from any independent witnesses to the collision and are asking anyone who saw it to come forward."
Rebecca's 40-year-old father suffered serious injuries and was taken to Colchester General Hospital.
