Kem Izzet will not play any part in Colchester United's pre-season friendly at Grays Athletic tomorrow.

The U's midfielder was hoping to be back after a recent operation to cure a stomach muscle problem. However, he today admitted his original estimate was wrong.
He said: "I was being a little bit too optimistic I think.
"I thought I was a particularly quick healer when it comes to injuries and that I would be back sooner. However, it looks like it will be another three to four days. It's a big disappointment to me.
"I worked really hard during the summer to get my fitness up and now I've been struck back with this."
